I hate life right now

I've just had a horrible week and right now it seems like there's no end in sight. On Monday I found out that I was rejected from Teach for America and then I went to SteerCo dinner and found out the shit hit the fan with a couple of people, which in turn effects all of us. Then, today I thought that I would hear from ISU, but I didn't. I also went to work to find out there was no point in be being there which was a huge waste of gas considering the prices are so freaking high. And just now I checked my bank account and I'm definitely in the negative because the IRS is full of greedy people who cash your tax check the second you send it to them. Add to all of that a Capstone paper and a group presentation on Thursday and I'm royally screwed. I'm considering becoming an alcoholic so that I can drink away my problems. If anyone else is intersted, feel free to contact me...

To everyone…

I’m sorry. I feel like I’ve been ignoring everyone lately due to my massive Greek Week commitment. Don’t worry though, I’m not just ignoring my friends; I’m also ignoring my schoolwork, slacking at my job, and my room should be declared a disaster area. After April 24th I will be able to hang out again, return everyone’s calls, and also manage to salvage my grades so that hopefully I will graduate.

Playing the waiting game...
For those of you who have dared to ask the "What are you doing next year?" question, I will have an answer for you in about 10 days. Within the next two weeks I will walk to the mailbox and find out what my future holds. I'm still waiting to hear from ISU to find out whether I got into the school psych program. I was told by the program director that my application was complete and my credentials looked great and that I would know by April 15th. Option number 2 is Teach for America. I didn't exactly know what to expect during the interview day, but was pleasantly suprised by the end of the day. I sort of applied for this on a whim as a back-up plan, but the more I prepared for the interview day the more excited I got about the entire prospect. The Teach for America letters get mailed out in the 14th and so I will know within a couple of days if you all should start addressing me as Miss Lynn.
